  1. Ombudsman Committee. The Board of Directors shall form an Ombudsman Committee which shall be charged with the task of providing information to the unit owners in writing on at least a quarterly basis concerning recreational, educational, social, medical and other opportunities in the Windham area. Said committee will specifically provide information with respect to all matters concerning “significant facilities and services” listed within regulations promulgated under New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated Chapter 354-A, Section 15, by the Commission for Human Rights, said regulation now being designated as Hum 302.03 (c).

The above Ombudsman reference is taken from our Schedule B Bylaws.  We are fortunate to have someone who does this with zeal and enthusiasm.  We would like to acknowledge our own Ombudsman Harry M. can be contacted at ombudsman@hadleighwoods.com. THANK YOU HARRY.

Hadleigh Woods Web Site.   Be sure to check out our web site at:  www.hadleighwoods.com.  There is always new and interesting information on it. Or, simply browse through the pictures.

Bulkheads & below ground cellar windows.   Periodically check for water during rainstorms at bulkheads and cellar windows. With the combination of cold weather, ice storms, and rain, some people have had leakage from bulkheads and below ground cellar windows.  The problem is a build up of ice around the bulkhead where it meets the cement.  When it rains water enters the staircase from between the metal bulkhead and the cement foundation.  The connection between the bulkhead and the foundation is where most bulkheads leak.

Household Hazardous Waste.  We have included a copy of NH’s Hazardous Waste & Drinking Water notice. With our septic system, our well water and the surrounding wetland area, we should be especially concerned about these issues. Please read this notice and go to their web sites for additional information.

Neighborhood information listing.   A new issue of our Reference Guide has been published. We have also included a copy of our latest resident information listing. Please notify us about any additions, corrections, etc. This is confidential information so please destroy any old copies. Thank you.

Annual Spring Yard Sale.  The time is nearing to start thinking about whether or not, or when, we should hold another community yard sale.  There is some positive interest already but we would like to hear from any others on the issue.  Please call Betty C.
