Official Announcement

The Semi-Annual, all-member meeting of the Hadleigh Woods Adult Community
Condominium Association will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 9,2006 at the
Windham Middle School (located behind the Golden Brook Elementary School off
South Lowell Street). Everyone is urged to attend to get a first-hand update of the
state of Association affairs and express their views on any topics they care to.

News From the Board of Directors:

1. The new Lawn Care and Snow Removal Contractor, B & C Landscaping has
completed most, if not all, of the Spring clean-up work. The first lawn treatment has been
laid down. New mulch has been spread on the common garden and lamp post areas.
Regular, weekly lawn mowing and weed whacking will begin this week of May. The
sprinkler system will be brought on-line on or before May 15th. Elite has finished up
correcting all the winter plow damage to lawns, sprinkler heads, etc. Since the new sod is
now been laid down and the sprinklers aren't on, please water any new areas in front of
your unit until the 15th when the sprinklers will be turned on.

2.. The Board has authorized the five residents who recently attended the special course
for Small Public Water System's operation (a State of New Hampshire offering) to assist
our system operator, Pennichuck, by keeping the water softener vat filled with the
treatment agent and keeping a general log of input-output and other useful data. Although
these men will not actually operate the station nor do any of the required testing, their
contribution does represents a huge dollar savings over having Pennichuck do all the
treatment work.

3. The Annual 55 Community Age Census for the Town of Windham is coming up soon.
The Secretary will mail you the required document. Please complete it and return it
without delay so the official filing can be completed on time..

Breakfast Club Anyone? What started out with just a few residents ten weeks ago has
grown to almost 40 Hadleigh Woods residents participating in a weekly, "open-to-all,
pay-your-own-way breakfast". It is held every Friday at 8:30 AM at the Alley Kat Grill
located inside the Park Lane Alleys, Windham on Route 28 near the Salem town line. No
one should shy away from this most pleasant occasion. You will be rewarded by the new
acquaintances you make and the good time you will have with fellow residents. We urge
everyone to give it a try!

And Bowling Too! In addition to the Friday breakfast there is an open-to-all bowling
party every Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 PM. It is ajust-for-fun, non-competitive outing
that lasts about an hour and a half (only 2 strings are bowled). Recently more than thirty
residents showed up either to bowl or as spectators. Absolutely no prior experience is
required!!! If you would like to join in just show up about 15 minutes early so that the
correct number of lanes can be reserved..
May 20th Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale It's that time again to take another look at
your attic, basement and closets to see what you can depart with and sell to
someone else! The all-day Yard Sale will be held on Saturday May 20 from
9:00 AM through 3:30 PM and, for those who wish, again on Sunday May 21st
from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Plan to set-up your sale items either in your own
garage or driveway. If you have any questions or want to help with the general
planning call Betty C. or Gerta T..

Sick Bay: Kathy B. is at home convalescing and will continue her
chemotherapy treatments. Dick M. and Janet T.
continue to convalesce and word is they are both improved and on the mend. Billy
L. is now in a Peabody re-hab facility while his wife, Barbara, is
convalescing there also from a recent broken hip (if they didn't have bad luck they
wouldn't have much luck at all!!).. Norm N. remains in long-term care
in a local Nursing Home. Our prayers go out to each of them and their families for a
quick and full recovery. I'm sure they would all appreciate hearing from you or receiving
a card.

Monthly Condo Fees All checks for the condo fee must be mailed to: HWACCA, P.O.
Box 712, Windham, NH 03087. Do Not Mail To Millie M. Home Address.

All-New Wed Site Preliminary, exploratory work has begun on a new, larger and
improved web site that will be less expensive and more tuned to our needs. Also,
exclusive "Hadleigh Woods" E-Mail addresses may be in the offering. More on this
exciting news in future issues.

The lawns are greening up, the shrubs are starting to bloom and the
temperatures are steadily rising.. .maybe Spring is finally getting here if it
is few weeks late! Sounds about right for the The Yard Sale, I'd say.
