Snow Plowing Season Is Upon Us. As we fast approach that time of year when the
snow doth fly. The Board needs to know which residents still work and require as early a
plow-out as possible. If you qualify for that service, please let a member of the Board
know without delay so we can advise the contractor to plow you early.
Getting Ready for the Winter Heating Season. If you haven't done so already, now is
the time to consider changing the furnace filter and the humidifier evaporator pad for
peak performance from your heating system. The manufacturer recommends changing
both on an annual basis.
Checking Your Smoke/Fire Alarms. As the clocks were turned back in October, we
should have checked out the working condition of all alarm batteries.
Limited Supply of Hadleigh Woods Polo Shirts Available. A variety of logo polo
shirts are still available. To get yours, contact Len K..
From the Board a/Directors:
Standing Committees for 2007. The Board has decided to keep the Landscape
Committee (under the leadership of Andrea C.) and the required Ombudsman
Committee (led by Harry M.) plus add a new one, the Water System Oversight
Committee, (led by Tom T.). Although some members of these committees have
been identified, there is room for additional volunteers. If you have an interest in any one
of the committees, please pass that desire along to a Director.
How's My Roof Holding Up? Following a couple of reports of possible loose or
missing shingles. The Board conducted a community-wide visual survey of every roof
and found them to be in very good condition. We did find two minor flaws but nothing
that will cause a leakage problem. This does not suggest that those who are still working
with the builder on leaks don't still have unresolved problems.
Changes to Schedule C of Our Condo Documents. The proposed changes to
Schedule C brought forth by the Document Committee were adopted by a near
unanimous vote at the Annual Meeting. Your copy of the new Schedule C is enclosed.
Wafer Consumer Confidence Report, Enclosed also is Your Water Analysis Report
for 2005 as required by the N.H. Dept. of Environmental Services. You will note that there are no violations.
Outside Gas and Charcoal Grills. Now that our insurer has agreed to let us keep grills
on the back decks and stoops provided we keep them away from the vinyl siding and the
vinyl privacy screen when cooking, we strongly suggest you keep them near, but not
touching the railings, use caution when they are lit and have a fire extinguisher handy.
